One of the best ways to loose weight and get into shape is to avoid carbohydrates. There are many products that are free of or contain small amount of them. It is easy to start this diet because you can continue eating normally, no calorie counting, but it is important to get proper information about which food doesn’t contain a lot of carbohydrates.
While you learn how to reduce carbohydrates intake start eating food you are sure don’t contain them, such as vegetables that grow above ground, meat, nuts, cheese etc. If you’re not sure, check labels or look up nutritional information online.
A low carb diet is usually combined with moderate proteins and high fat because when you reduce carbohydrates you have to get energy from somewhere. When your body stops running on glucose from carbs it starts running on fat and produces ketones for energy. That’s called being in ketosis. More on the science front later.

Another term related to a low carb diet is a ketogenic diet, its purpose is to prevent your body from using glucose as the main energy source,instead of that you body will burn fat to get the necessary energy. This is a great way of loosing weight and burning fat while you are on a low carb diet.
Inform yourself about food which has a small amount of carbs so you can create your weekly menu and totally change your diet.
The beginning is the hardest part (I call it getting the “keto flu”) but once you get used to such food and diet it will become normal to you and you’ll no longer have to think what to eat. There are also ways to lessen the keto flu, such as taking proper supplement and vitamins, drinking broth, eating avocados and more.
