Low carb vegetables list

Low carb vegetables list

Some vegetables are very low carb and great for your health

Low carb vegetables list

Here’s a list of low carb vegetables, arranged by amount of net carbs. If you want to know why I use net carbs read this post.

In this list Net Carbs are based on a serving size of 1/4 pound (113 grams) and/or 4 oz (113 grams) of the raw vegetable.

This low carb vegetables list is great for printing out and hanging on you fridge so you can glance at it quickly while preparing food or making a grocery list!

Vegetables are full of vitamins and minerals. When you’re starting out on keto, perhaps suffering from the evil keto flu, you want to make sure you eat enough of them without going over your daily carb limit. It´ll ease your flu-symptoms and the fiber will make the transition easier on your digestive system.

Sorry, but corn is not a veggie. It’s a grain, and not very good for anyones diet.

Yikes, I don’t know how that one slipped through. I removed it, thanks for letting me know :)

Actually, if you are going to complain about something on the list, please be accurate. Corn is only considered a grain if it is harvested dry. It is fully acceptable as a vegetable otherwise.

-Corn is full of starch, so therefore not really low carb, Mark… She did right, when she removed it from the list.
Great blog you have here, Lilja. Just started follow your board at Pinterest – looks great!
